based in NYC, BUNNY X is an italo disco / retrowave duo INSPIRED BY ALL THINGS 80S

Some of the Bunny X’s influences include Depeche Mode, the Pet Shop Boys and early Madonna as well as synthwave artists like FM Attack and Timecop1983. Their most recent album, Love Minus 80, is a concept-driven collection of songs that were inspired by several sci-fi novels and films from the 1980s.

Since launching in 2012, with founding members Abigail Gordon and Mary Hanley, the band has released numerous singles, EPs and two full length albums Young & In Love (2021) and Love Minus 80 (2023).

In 2026, the band, now Abigail Gordon and Jenny Bates, will release the Bunny’s third studio album on Aztec Records (title to be announced soon) and continues to perform live throughout New York City and across North America.

Bunny X has had the pleasure of collaborating with a number of incredible artists and producers over the past decade including: Flemming Dalum, Fred Ventura, Ricky & Kim Wilde, Marvel83’, Vincenzo Salvia, Earmake, Don Dellpiero, SelloRekt / LA Dreams, Thought Beings, Gosteffects, Conrad Kaneshiro, GRAMMY Award winner Tony Lake and many more.
